Introducing Your Guides
Welcome to Midlife Warrior!
Let Us Introduce Ourselves.
For years, we have been helping executives navigate the challenges of leadership within the business world. Now, fusing our extensive experience in executive coaching with our personal experience of the challenges – and opportunities – of midlife, we want to help other MID-LIFE WARRIORS like you, realign yourself to your purpose, spirit and relationships.
According to Eastern tradition, there are four stages of life. At first , we become ‘students’, learning how life ‘works’. In our 20s and 30s, we mature to become ‘householders’, building home, career and family. As we move into our 40s and 50s we enter midlife. In this third stage, we are invited to metaphorically become ‘Forest- Dwellers’ as we deepen our connection to ourselves, our community and our purpose. The final stage, from our 70s and beyond, is that of ‘the sage’, when we turn ever inwards in spiritual contemplation and share our wisdom with younger generations.
However, of all the transitions, this third one is perhaps the most challenging of all, as we must learn to let go of some of the things that have previously defined us. Our purpose, here at Midlife Warrior is to help you make this transition mindfully, skillfully and with grace.
We continue to shape our own journey and would like to help you on yours…Are you ready to join us?
Sarah’s Story
‘Those who have a ‘why’ to live can bear almost any ‘how’’
Victor Frankle
“I’ve always had life goals and been a creative entrepreneur with a vision for myself and my work—until my early 40s. Somewhere around that time, a creeping but unstoppable sense of apathy began to slowly take root. I watched and witnessed myself literally running out of steam. What once inspired me, I began to carry like a millstone around my neck; what once infused me with energy began to require every ounce of effort I could muster. Then I was hit by menopause and my body went to s**t overnight. It was freakin’ scary! And so began my own Midlife Warrior quest to shape the next chapter of my life…
Today, I am on that path, reinventing and rebalancing the direction of my work, building new friendships and rekindling those that got left behind, while becoming fitter and stronger than I ever remember. Thank goodness for midlife and the menopause; it turns out it has been the greatest gift.”

Chris’ Story:
“When I reached 40, I looked back upon my career. I should have been pleased. At the age of 38, I was a sales and marketing director of a generics pharmaceutical company. I had a beautiful family and equally lovely home with my dream car, a classic Aston Martin, sitting in the garage.
Life was good but I could not avoid a nagging question whose answer might turn everything I had stived for upon its head. Is this REALLY what I wanted? Was I prepared to sacrifice hours in pursuit of climbing the corporate career ladder at the cost of seeing my family grow up?
I agonised over what a decision to carve out a different path might mean for my family. What would it do for my finances? How would it affect my health and what would it do for my spirit? Who was I in all this?
These are just some of the thoughts that plagued me at the time. I was frustrated by the straight-jacket that I felt constrained me. Something else was knocking at the door and it couldn’t be ignored. Looking back now, it’s clear that excitement and anxiety were mixed in equal measure as I struck out to change direction. It has not been without challenges, but never for one moment have I regretted becoming more of who I was meant to be.”
